Mike Hosty Duo
While I'm sure most of you are familiar with Hosty Soloevery Sunday at your beloved Deli, but it's the Duo that I'm talkin'bout. Guitarist, singer, kazooist, and comedian Mike Hosty, along with3-piece drummer Mike 'Tic Tac' Byars are a staple of the Norman musicscene. Actually, fuck that, they're more like 50 staples, or onegigantic one of you will. Hosty's grungy blues guitar and Tic Tac'stasteful drumming set the stage for ballads about truck stops, friedpies, tornadoes, Chewbacca, and opium whores. You know, all the mostprominent elements of Oklahoma life. Seeing Hosty his great because notonly is he an amazing guitar player (and a respectable kazoo player toboot) but he is one of the funniest sons a bitches you'll ever meet.
